Erk Aicrag und Racso Agroyam, zwei wütende Überlebende der körperlichen und seelischen Gewalt, die täglich auf den Straßen von Mexiko-Stadt zunimmt, gründeten 1993 Hocico, eine Hard-Electro-Band, die mit Mitgefühl und Wut gegen den Verfall des menschlichen Geistes ankämpft.

Auf der Suche nach neuen musikalischen Konzepten kreiert Hocico dunkle und aggressive Klänge: alptraumhafte Atmosphären, klassische Landschaften und treibende Beats, die mit Adrenalin und Wut geladen sind. Who ever thinks about „Blasphemies In The Holy Land“ also remembers the amount of power this legendary live album evokes even nowadays. So it was a kind of obvious to create another monument in its tradition. Also the following live album „Shalom From Hell Aviv“ shows the band in absolute top form with an audience bringing the pedal to the metal from the first to the last moment. With the release of DARK SUNDAY & PSYCHONAUT, Hocico officially announcing a new master piece will follow in 2019.
