Amphi Festival
The Amphi Festival is more than just a music festival, it’s the black scene’s family reunion! Since 2005, we have been committed to creating a platform where like-minded people can come together to experience music, make friends, and enjoy the unique atmosphere. Our history is shaped by our passion and commitment to bringing you the best music, the best location, and the most unforgettable moments. What once began as a smaller event at the eponymous Amphi Theater in Gelsenkirchen grew into an annual gathering for over 12,500 music lovers from all over the world when it moved to Cologne’s Tanzbrunnen in 2006.

With UNTER SCHWARZER FLAGGE, you can experience a unique concert trip from Cologne to Königswinter and back aboard the MS RheinMagie.
While four top acts from the dark rock and electro scene provide thrilling live shows aboard Europe’s largest event ship, a shore excursion in Königswinter will transport you into the world of the Nibelungen saga.
In addition to exploring the old town at your leisure or stopping off at a local restaurant, the Drachenfels with its old castle ruins and phenomenal view of the Rhine is a particular attraction.
As the sun sets, the return journey along the river promenades finally takes you back to Cologne, illuminated at night, bringing an unforgettable event to a close.
