E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL 2010
BÄSSER HÄRTER LAUTER ALS DER REST!
Berlin, das war der Wahnsinn! Das erste E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL war ein voller Erfolg. 3500 Besucher aus Deutschland und dem europäischen Ausland versammelten sich am letzten Samstag auf dem Berliner Columbiagelände, um gemeinsam mit 13 internationalen Bands ein unbeschreibliches Elektroevent zu feiern.
Während im Außengelände strahlender Sonnenschein die Besucher in die großzügigen Chill-Out Areas lockte oder zu einem Shoppingbummel auf der Händlermeile einlud, kochte in den Hallen bereits zu früher Stunde die Stimmung. Dabei erwiesen sich die C-Halle und der C-Club als optimale Schauplätze für das hochklassig besetzte Programm.
Den Grundstein für die ausgelassene Party legten um 15:00 Uhr die Ostberliner Bauarbeiter „PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF" mit einem unterhaltsamen Auftritt voller origineller Ideen und tanzbaren Beats. KMFDM und LEÆTHER STRIP erhöhten anschließend drastisch die Schlagzahl in der C-Halle, während parallel SHE´S ALL THAT den C-Club einweihten. Die legendären DAF zündeten danach auf der großen Bühne ein wahres Feuerwerk und tanzten mit Euch den Mussolini, als wärs das letzte Mal, bevor FEINDFLUG und COMBICHRIST mit ihren Shows das Festivalmotto „Bässer - Härter - Lauter" auf ein neues Level hoben. Bis in die obersten Ränge der Tribüne tobte die Party mit unwiderstehlicher Intensität! COVENANT stiegen anschließend mit viel frischem Material ihres kommenden Albums „Modern Ruin" in den Ring, bevor die mexikanische Electro-Dampfwalze HOCICO das Live-Programm mit einem wuchtigen Auftritt beendete.
Zum Abschluss des gelungenen Festivals verlagerte sich das Geschehen zur Aftershowparty in den C-Club, wo tagsüber CYBORG ATTACK, MERGEL KRATZER, MIND IN A BOX und XOTOX einen familiären Gegenpol zum Blockbuster Line-Up der C-Halle geschaffen hatten.
Wir bedanken uns bei allen Künstlern, Helfern, Händlern, Medienpartnern und Sponsoren, die uns an diesem Wochenende so tatkräftig unterstützt haben. Der größte Dank gilt jedoch Euch, dem Publikum, die Ihr dem E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL seinen einzigartigen Spirit verliehen habt. Ohne Euch wäre dieses wundervolle Event niemals möglich gewesen! Danke für Eure Unterstützung!

E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL 2010
DARKER HARDER LOUDER THAN THE REST!
Berlin, that was insane! The first E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL was a full success. 3500 visitors from Germany and the European countries gathered last Saturday at the Columbia compound in Berlin, to celebrate this unprecedented electronic event with 13 international acts.
While the rays of sunshine lured many visitors into the generously capacitated chill-out zones of the outdoor areas, or invited them to a shopping-tour along the merchandising-booths, the mood started boiling inside the concerts halls even at the early hours of the day. By that, the C-Hall and the C-Club turned out as ideal settings for the high profile programme.
The cornerstone for the party in high spirits was dropped at 15:00 o’clock by East-Berlin construction workers „PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF", with an entertaining performance, packed with genuine ideas and danceable beats. Then KMFDM and LEÆTHER STRIP raised the stakes significantly at the C-Hall, while, at the same time, SHE´S ALL THAT inaugurated the C-Club. Afterwards the legendary DAF started their musical fireworks and danced the „Mussolini" with you, like it were for the last time, before FEINDFLUG and COMBICHRIST blasted the festival-motto "darker harder louder” to an entirely new level. The energy was spiking through the roof, when the party caught everyone, up to the highest ranks of the tribune with irresistible intensity! Following up, the Swedes from Covenant entered the ring to present a lot of new material from their upcoming album „Modern Ruin", until the Mexican electro-bulldozers HOCICO closed the live-action with an extremely powerful and inspired performance.
At the end of the successful day the action moved towards the aftershow party at the C-Club, where CYBORG ATTACK, MERGEL KRATZER, MIND IN A BOX and XOTOX had created a familiar alternative to the blockbuster line-up of the C-Hall.
We like to thank all artists, hands, merchants, media partners and sponsors, who supported us this weekend with their invaluable commitment. The biggest thanks are yet to come and go out to all of you - the audience. You gave the E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL its unique Spirit. This wonderful event would never have happened without your tremendous support!
